DJ Myers

Head Sports Performance Coach, Football Skills Position Trainer, Wide Receiver Specialist

DJ Myers is a Northern Virginia native and graduate of Midwestern State University and Lackawanna College, as well as Strayer University, where he earned his Master of Business Administration in Project Management. DJ has built a strong career as both a professional athlete and performance coach, combining elite-level football experience with a passion for developing athletes on and off the field.

Over six professional seasons, DJ has competed across the Arena, Indoor, and Spring football landscape, playing for the Philadelphia Soul (AFL), Orlando Predators (AFL), Carolina Cobras (NAL), Memphis Showboats (USFL), San Antonio Gunslingers (IFL), and Bay Area Panthers (IFL). His consistency, versatility, and leadership have made him a respected presence at every level of the game.

In addition to his playing career, DJ has coached at the collegiate level and continues to train 1UP athletes year-round, focusing on performance development, strength, and competitive mindset.

Dakota Prukop

Sports Performance Coach, QB Specialist

Dakota Prukop is a graduate of Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas, and a former collegiate and professional quarterback with elite experience across multiple levels of the game. He began his college career at Montana State University, where he earned FCS All-American honors and established himself as one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the country.

Dakota later transferred to the University of Oregon, where he earned the starting quarterback role and competed at the highest level of college football. Throughout his collegiate career, he set multiple school and conference records, showcasing his leadership, athleticism, and playmaking ability.

Following college, Dakota spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles before continuing his professional career in the Canadian Football League. He played three seasons with the Toronto Argonauts, winning a Grey Cup Championship in 2017, and has continued his career across multiple professional organizations. His experience at the NFL, CFL, and spring football levels brings a high-level, well-rounded perspective to quarterback development.

Dakota specializes in quarterback training, decision-making, and game-speed development, helping athletes elevate their performance with techniques directly translated from elite-level competition.

Daje’ Johnson

Sports Performance Coach, Football Skills Development Specialist

Daje’ Johnson is an Austin, Texas native and graduate of Hendrickson High School. A former standout at the University of Texas, Daje’ built his career as a dynamic running back, wide receiver, and return specialist, known for his elite speed, versatility, and playmaking ability.

Throughout his playing career, Daje’ established himself as one of the most explosive athletes in the country, earning national recognition and setting records with his all-purpose production. His ability to impact the game in multiple phases translates directly into his coaching, where he focuses on speed development, skill training, and position-specific performance.

Daje’ has trained athletes across multiple levels and is known for helping players maximize their athletic potential while developing the confidence and discipline needed to succeed on and off the field.

Yogi Beitia

Sports Performance Coach, Offensive & Defensive Line Specialist, Strength Coach

Yogi Beitia is a Waco, Texas native and graduate of Bishop Reicher Catholic High School, with over 15 years of experience developing athletes as a Texas high school football coach. He earned both his Bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration in Global Business from St. Edward’s University, combining leadership, coaching expertise, and a strong foundation in long-term athlete development.

Throughout his career at St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School, Yogi has served as a coach, mentor, and role model, building impactful relationships with athletes while emphasizing discipline, accountability, and character. He has played a key role in developing offensive and defensive linemen, while also designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs across multiple sports.

Yogi specializes in line play development, functional strength, and foundational movement training, with a strong emphasis on proper technique, safe lifting principles, and long-term athletic progression. His experience running off-season training programs and camps has helped athletes at the middle school and high school levels build a strong performance base and prepare for the next level.

Josh Wydermyer

Sports Performance Coach, Football Skills Position Trainer, Defensive Back Specialist

Joshua Wydermyer is an Austin, Texas native and graduate of Hendrickson High School. He went on to Midwestern State University, where he earned a degree in Sport and Leisure Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice. A former Don Hansen Football Gazette All-American, Josh has built his coaching and training career on a foundation of high-level playing experience and hands-on athlete development.

He has coached and trained athletes from the youth level to the professional ranks, including international experience working with athletes in China. Throughout his career, Josh has helped numerous athletes earn collegiate scholarships, bringing a well-rounded and global perspective to performance training and development.

Josh specializes in defensive back development, movement efficiency, and functional strength, with a strong emphasis on translating training directly to game performance. He is committed to helping athletes build confidence, consistency, and elite-level performance both on and off the field.

Isaiah Vilaire

Sports Performance Coach, Athlete Development Specialist

Isaiah Vilaire is a passionate sports performance coach and certified trainer dedicated to developing young athletes through a strong foundation of health & wellness, speed, and agility. With a background as a competitive football player and track athlete, Isaiah combines firsthand playing experience with proven training methodologies to help athletes improve performance and build confidence both on and off the field.

A former three-year starting running back at Vista Ridge High School, Isaiah played a key role in leading his team to the state semifinals. He was also a track and field regional qualifier, showcasing his athletic versatility and commitment to speed development. Following high school, he signed to play junior college football at Garden City Community College in Kansas.

Isaiah is a NASM-certified trainer, applying evidence-based performance training techniques to maximize athletic potential. He is currently pursuing his NASM Certified Nutrition Specialist certification to further enhance athlete performance, recovery, and overall wellness.

Will Arndt

Sports Performance Coach, QB Specialist

Will Arndt is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University, where he earned his degree in Exercise Science and his MBA in Organizational Leadership. A professional quarterback and experienced coach, Will brings a strong background in athlete development, performance training, and high-level quarterback play.

A record-setting quarterback at Western Connecticut, Will went on to play eight years of professional football, gaining valuable experience at the highest levels of competition. He has spent over a decade coaching and mentoring quarterbacks, including two years as a quarterbacks coach in the Canadian Football League (CFL), helping athletes refine mechanics, improve decision-making, and elevate overall performance.

Throughout his coaching career, Will has helped over 30 student-athletes earn college football opportunities, securing scholarships at various levels. In addition to his work on the field, he has also been involved in sports coordination for major TV, film, and commercial productions, bringing a unique perspective to the game and athlete development.

Will specializes in quarterback mechanics, film evaluation, and advanced offensive concepts, with a focus on translating high-level knowledge into practical, game-ready performance.

Greg Cooper

Co-Director of 1UP Sports Adult Fitness

Greg Cooper brings nearly three decades of coaching and teaching experience in the state of Texas, with 29 years in football and a proven track record of developing athletes across multiple sports. He has served as an Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach at Travis High School and Vandegrift High School, where he spent the last nine years leading high-level offensive systems and athlete development.

Throughout his career, Greg has coached in a 5A State Championship game and was recognized as the C.T.F.C.A. Offensive Assistant Coach of the Year. His experience extends beyond football, including 20 years in track and field, where he served as Head Track Coach at Taft High School in San Antonio. During that time, he led his program to three district championships and developed numerous state qualifiers.

Greg also spent nine years as a Head Wrestling Coach at Travis and Vandegrift High School, helping lead Vandegrift to back-to-back top-10 finishes at the State Meet. His diverse coaching background has helped him become one of the top speed and performance coaches in Texas.

He specializes in speed development, athlete performance training, injury prevention, and adult fitness, bringing a well-rounded approach to training athletes of all levels.

Tim Prukop

Owner, CEO, Head of Football Camps and Clinics

Tim Prukop brings over 16 years of professional coaching experience, with stops at Arizona State University, the University of Southern California, NFL Europe (Amsterdam Admirals), Santa Margarita Catholic High School, and Servite High School. During his coaching career, he was part of Rose Bowl and Cotton Bowl victories at USC, a CIF Championship at Santa Margarita, and multiple high school programs that reached the state semifinals.

After stepping away from full-time coaching to focus on raising his family, Tim returned to the sidelines as Head Coach at St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School, where he led the program to a State Championship appearance in 2019.

At 1UP, Tim leads all football camps and clinics, including quarterback development, bringing high-level coaching experience and proven systems to athletes of all levels.

Tim earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UC Davis and his Master’s degree in International Relations from Arizona State University. He is also the Co-Founder of Eccker Sports, an NIL education platform designed to support coaches, student-athletes, and families, and currently serves as CEO of ANSRS Analytics, empowering football coaches to make faster, more informed decisions through the most accurate data and video management system in Football.

Lisa Prukop

Owner, Chief Operating Officer

Lisa Prukop spent 12 years working for Global Crossing, where she led accounts for the company’s Los Angeles team. She later moved to Austin from Southern California with her husband, Tim, to raise their four kids: Dakota, Tristan, Savanna, and Torrey.

At 1UP, Lisa is in charge of all day-to-day operations, from booking and scheduling to overall gym management. You can most likely catch her at the front desk, helping athletes and families and keeping everything running smoothly.
