1UP’s Youth Football Camp is an all Positions Skills Camp to fully prepare your athlete for Fall Tackle Football season. 1UP Camp will focus on Offensive and Defensive Skills and Drills.   Add-on Speed Training,  Strength/Weights, Football Skills and Lacrosse Agility for a minimal cost of just $100 for the month. Camp will be led by former USC Coach Tim Prukop, Greg Cooper, Nick Carroll and former Texas players Johnathan Gray & Dylan Haines.

Neighborhood Sports and 1UP Sports present the Summer NFL Flag Football Skills Camp led by Tim Prukop

Cost: $150

June 28 – 30 (9am – 12pm) – Cedar Park @ Brushy Creek Sports Park

Advance your  NFL Flag Football skills by participating in the NFL Flag skills camp.

Add-On: $100 Unlimited Training during the month of your camp!

With over 40 years of coaching experience, former USC and NFL Europe Coach Tim Prukop leads the Summer NFL Flag Football Skills Camp.  The camp will provide instruction on these essential football skills to enable your athlete to compete at a high level.

 1.  Receiving – fundamentals of how to receive the football with the fingertips, how to see the ball into the fingers and how to secure the ball after the catch.
2.  Ball Security – 5 points of pressure on the ball to provide secure carrying of the football.
3.  Center to QB Exchange – fundamentals of how to execute the shot-gun snap.
4.  Mesh Point / Zone Read – teaches the QB and RB on how to execute the handoff in the spread offense and read the defense to determine when to give or pull the ball on the zone read.
5.  WR Stance, Get Off & Running Routes – proper stance for WR, get off and basic footwork of route running.
6.  QB Fundamentals – for young QB’s, Coach Prukop will instruct QB’s on the “Neutral” position, connecting the feet and arm for power and accuracy and proper throwing mechanics.
7.  DB Stance, Backpedal & Coverage Concepts – alignment, assignment and coverage techniques for defensive backs.

The Summer NFL Flag Football Skills Camp is a 3 day, camp that will develop the basic football fundamentals any player needs to succeed in flag football.  Players will rotate through stations working on these critical skills and then end the camp with some one on one competition between WR’s and DB’s.  The camp will be coordinated by Tim Prukop who coached at the college and professional level for 16 years including stops at Arizona State University, University of Southern California, Amsterdam Admirals and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Lacrosse Summer Training is a 60 minute class held once a week at 1UP. It will be led by 1UP Coach Nick Carroll, coach of several local high school Lacrosse teams in town and Coston Pendleton. Camp is for ages 10-13 athletes that have had 2 years minimum Lacrosse experience. Camp will cover Lacrosse Skills & Drills and specific speed & agility drills specifically for Lacrosse.

Employing cutting edge, scientifically proven training methodology, 1UP Sports’ progressive combination of strength training, functional movement, and conditioning will physically prepare your athlete for the upcoming Volleyball/Basketball season so they play at their peak performance and earn a spot on that top team. Plyometric drills, and strength & agility training will be an intensive part of increasing your athlete’s vertical and explosive movements on the court. Before and After assessments of each athlete’s vertical, broad jump, 40 yard dash, pro-agility drill, and core test will be included.  Summer Speed & Agility Training

1UP’s Speed Training is designed to enhance athlete’s overall speed and multi-directional movement skills such as acceleration, deceleration and lateral movements. Recent research indicates that these skills should be the primary focus for pre-season training program. By increasing these skills, athletes will be better prepared for their competitive season(s) by being faster, quicker, stronger, more explosive and more injury resistant.

Each class follows a systematic progression from the feet to the shoulders and includes  appropriate core development, balance and proprioceptive development, as well as improving proper running mechanics. Classes are designed to be fun, yet challenging to athletes of all ages and ability level. Before and after assessments will be taken to show progress.
