DJ Myers

Head Sports Performance Coach, Football Position Skills Trainer and Basketball Skills Trainer

DJ Myers is a graduate of Midwestern State University & Lackawanna College. A Northern Virginia native, DJ has an impeccable record of not only College and Pro Level accomplishments playing WR and coaching at a Collegiate level, as well as earning 12 Academic Scholarships! He is currently earning his Master Degree in Business Administration from Strayer Univ.! DJ is playing in his 5th year of Professional Football and trains our 1UP athletes in his off-season.

Dakota Prukop

Sports Performance Coach, Quarterback Trainer

  • Dakota Prukop is a graduate of local Vandergrift High School in Austin. He was the starting Quarterback at Montana State University and was named FCS All-American! He was then a 5th year transfer to University of Oregon and earned starting QB. During his collegiate career, Dakota set many school and conference records. After college, he spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles before going to the Canadian Football League. In the CFL, he spent 3 years with the Toronto Argonauts, winning a Grey Cup Championship in 2017. Dakota is currently in his 6th year of playing professional ball. He signed with the CFL Winnipeg Bombers for a second season in March 2023.

Jon Shalala

Sports Performance Coach, Football Position Skills Trainer

Jon Shalala is a graduate of 5A Kempner High School in Sugar Land, Texas. He was a 4 year starter in High School. He then went on to play at Grand View University in Iowa. He was the starting Quarterback at Grand View, where they won the 2013 NAIA national championship. After his college career he went on to pursue a career in coaching, where he made a number of stops at all different levels. Jon has an extensive background on both sides of the ball not only as a player but as a coach. With 6 seasons of SEC experience and 10 seasons of college coaching experience.

Daje’ Johnson

Sports Performance Coach, Football & Basketball Skills Trainer

Daje’ Johnson is a graduate of Hendrickson High School in Austin. He then became a star Running Back/Wide Receiver at Texas where he shined with an array of accomplishments. He’s an excellent Football and Basketball Skills coach and is known for his Speed Performance technique. He has trained many elite athletes and helped them towards earning their college scholarships.

Ryan Merrifield

Sports Performance Coach, Football Skills Trainer

Ryan Merrifield is a graduate of Vandergift High School. He plays receiver at Trinity University and led his team in receptions as a starting wide-receiver. Ryan trains 1Up youth football athletes in his off-season and heads up our Youth Summer Football Camps/Clinics.

Greg Cooper

Co-Director of 1UP Sports Adult Fitness

Greg Cooper has taught and coached in the state of Texas for 29 years. He coached football for all 29 years with the last 9 as Offensive Coordinator/QB coach at Travis High School and Vandegrift High School. In 2007, he was awarded Offensive Asst. Coach of the Year by the C.T.F.C.A. In 2001 he coached in the class 5-AAAAA State Championship Game. Greg coached track for 20 years where his last 6 years he was Head Track Coach at Taft High School in San Antonio Texas. There he won 3 District Championship Titles and qualified many kids and relays to the State Meet. Through this experience Greg has developed into one of the best Speed Coaches in Texas.  For the last 9 years he has been the Head Wrestling Coach at Travis and Vandegrift High School. The last 2 seasons the Vipers have finished 7th and 6th place at the State Meet. Coach Cooper has also coached in the T.H.S.C.A. All Star Game in 2005 where he coached Jamal Charles as the featured running back. Greg graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and Physical Education.  He brings his expertise in Athlete Sports Performance and Speed Training and Adult Personal Training, Rehab and Injury Prevention.

Tim Prukop

Owner, CEO, Head of Football Camps and Clinics

Tim Prukop coached football professionally for 16 seasons including stops at Arizona State University, the University of Southern California, NFL Europe (Amsterdam Admirals), Santa Margarita Catholic and Servite High School. After his successful career that included Rose Bowl and Cotton Bowl victories at USC, a CIF Championship at Santa Margarita HS and two other High School teams that reached the semi-finals, Coach Prukop gave up his career as a football coach to focus on raising his family. Although Tim stepped in to be head coach at St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School and lead them to a State Championship game in 2019. Tim heads up all 1UP Football Camps/Clinics and Quarterback Camps. Tim graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from UC Davis and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Arizona State University. He currently is Co-Founder of Eccker Sports, which is an NIL Educational Platform for coaches, student athletes and families.

Lisa Prukop

Owner, Chief Operating Officer

Lisa Prukop worked for Global Crossing for 12 years, and lead accounts for her company’s Los Angles Team. She then moved to Austin, Texas from Southern California with her husband, Tim, to raise their 4 Kids (Dakota, Tristan, Savanna, and Torrey). She is in charge of all operations at 1UP from booking, scheduling, to day to day management. You can most likely catch her at the front desk!
